Leor Elizur

Project Assistant

Leor is a MA student in Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia. She is interested in Narrative and Feminist approaches to counselling and is researching people’s lived experiences of homophobia and antisemitism. Leor has multiple years of experience working in research and has studied various topics such as memory, sex and sexuality, and Indigenous experiences of cyberbullying. While the research topics have varied, the common thread between these is understanding people’s experiences and psychology. Leor also has extensive experience in peer support as well as management.

Leor approaches all of her work with a social justice lens and anti-oppressive orientation as part of an ongoing commitment to learning.

Outside of her work, Leor loves to dance, read, and spend time with her cat, Toast.”
