Diana Abath works as a community and career-practitioner educator who hails from the rolling green of Southern Vermont. She has worked in career, workforce, and employment development, services, and education and human services for 15 years and has held roles as director, manager, and coordinator of community and regional human services programs for diverse at-risk populations, including roles as academic career services and administrative staff of four colleges.
She is an online instructor of the CCE-Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF-i) and Career Management Professional Program (CMPP) certification courses for U.S. and Canadian organizations, founder of ShineWrite Career & Professional Development, a private career employment practice, and Director of Career Development at Marlboro College.
Known for her jovial spirit and passionate advocacy for career professional development, Diana's education includes MA degrees in Industrial Organizational Psychology specializing in vocational rehabilitation and Community Education emphasizing career and workforce curriculum and instruction, respectively. She holds Board Certified Human Services Practitioner (HS-BCP) and Certified Developmental Coach (CDC) credentials and is currently working on her doctorate in online education and professional development for career development and employment practitioners.
